Welcome to Dakota Riley Vickers memorial website. There is such a sad reason this page is here. This page was created in memory of a sweet little blue eyed baby boy. Who amongst many affectionate nicknames, was my little kota bear.
Dakota was a sweet baby boy with big almond shaped blue eyes. His trademark look was his wrinkled little brows, provoked by the constant curiosity of what was going on around him at all times. To say he was amazing, is an understatement. That little boy hung the stars in my sky.
Dakota was born 18 minutes after his twin brother, Kassidy, @ 1:03 am on 2.12.06. I love and wanted him from the moment I knew he existed. When they layed him on my tummy after his birth, I knew that I was holding somebody very special. Dakotas life was such a gift and when he died, so did a piece of me.
Sadly, after only nine short weeks of a beautiful life, that blue eyed baby flew to heaven in the night. Kota passed away from SIDS on the day after easter, 2006. Words cannot express the impact his little life made and the enormity of his loss. |
